The Now Fashion: Zero Waste Education Module was successfully implemented in Türkiye with the active participation of university students at Selçuk University! 🇹🇷
✨Throughout the programme, participants took part in a series of interactive workshops and training sessions focused on sustainable fashion, zero waste practices, creative reuse and conscious consumption.
From upcycling old textiles to capsule wardrobe design, the sessions aimed to strengthen both environmental awareness and practical skills.This inspiring educational process empowered university students to rethink fashion, embrace sustainability, and become part of the solution for a more responsible future. 🌿♻️

In December, Creative Station explored how a practical “zero waste” approach can change the way we think about clothes. ♻️👕
Through the testing/training of the Now Fashion – Zero Waste module (22 & 27 Dec 2025), we engaged 30 students — FEFA Belgrade (21) and a student group in Niš (9). We talked about fast fashion and textile waste, unpacked common myths around “sustainable fashion,” and focused on realistic, accessible steps anyone can take right away. And then we moved to what matters most: hands-on practice. ✨
During our upcycling workshop, we made a pillowcase from an old T-shirt — a small activity that clearly shows how easy it is to extend the life of textiles instead of turning them into waste.
The results confirmed it: pre-test 3.30 → post-test 4.03 (+0.73), with the biggest improvement in navigating sustainable fashion where to find reliable information and where to choose more sustainable options (+1.19). 🌱
Small steps, but a clear change. We’re moving forward. 💚

Throughout the workshop, participants explored the environmental and ethical problems of the fashion industry, discussed responsible production and sustainable consumption, and learned to check labels and repair rather than discard.
Hands-on activities included capsule wardrobe basics, styling with existing clothes, and simple design exercises closing with a mini showcase and group evaluation.This inspiring educational process empowered university students to rethink fashion, embrace sustainability, and become part of the solution for a more responsible future. 🌿♻️

"From Trash to Fashion" Workshop Inspires Students in North Macedonia
Students took part in a creative "From Trash to Fashion" workshop, transforming recycled materials — including old CDs — into original fashion pieces, such as a striking CD-embellished vest. The workshop concluded with a school-wide presentation, where students proudly showcased their sustainable designs and ideas to their peers and teachers.🌿♻️
